The film, directed by Rupert Goold and starring James Franco as Longo and Jonah Hill as Finkel, is based on Finkel’s book "True Story: Memoir, Mea Culpa" recounting the case and his personal involvement with his impersonator.

My Grandfather has been bleeding.

when he matter of fact told me that they wouldn't be taking him up to the hospital for a blood transfusion.

From the details you provide I have to conclude that he is not taking enough of this "medication."
He needs to double the dosage as of last week, unless he is too week to get the damned caps off, in which case he should triple the dose and stop keeping it in a case.

My oldest friend, Quincy Roberts, Ex-JW died last night at age 66

Need input: elders showed up at our door today
by de-opresso-liber inso as i announced last week, my wife and i started our fade and i sent in a letter to our body that i was stepping down and cited the arc as the reason and insisted that we not be bothered.
my wife told a few relatives in person that we weren't going to attend meetings any longer (immediate shunning occurred, the new videos must be effective) and that what we found with the arc shocked us etc etc.
i have an inside track on how this is all going down by an awake elder on the body, co told them to handle the matter quickly.

by Tahoe ina jw family member informed me they are filling out an application to preach the truth in israel.
interested ones in the congregation were asked to start saving now, as the cost of the flights would be their own responsibility.
the time frame for this preaching work is for a couple of weeks in may/june 2017. the applications are to be turned in this sunday.

Why is religion in general so obsessed with what people choose to do with their willies and vaginas?
by jambon1 inwhat was it in the evolution of religion that got them so hung up about what people do with their genitalia?.
i mean, the (mis)use of genitalia is up there with murdering another human being in terms of badness.. and in the 21st century, we have a situation where in the jw religion, it's deemed as acceptable for three middle aged/old men to sit a teenage girl down and ask her the details of her use of her genitals.
to any normal person this is intrusive, completely inappropriate and bordering on deviancy.. why they so obsessed?.

2 elders just came to my door. I smiled and told them no.

they came to my door to find me with a full beard and a nightmare before christmas hoody, playing a video game where the characters "do not act according to bible principles", and i happily answered the door.
i simply smiled and told them no when they asked if i have a minute.

i have always been told it was the world with a veil over their eyes.

I'm sorry for your loss. You've posted a nice memorial for Quincy.
I have to comment that I think the only congregation name that could be more oxymoronic than "Polytechnic Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses" would be "The MENSA Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses".
The Witnesses would always offer each other the lie that "there is always the resurrection." We know that is not true, but we understand the analgesic properties of such fables.
